It’s been a bit hasn’t it? I’m just procrastinating a presentation that I’m staying up to have ready for tomorrow. Things are pretty good here and pretty bad there, but all in all I guess I can’t complain all that much. This summer I’m going to Costa Rica if everything falls into place. I have a new Twitter @TexasUkulele if any are interested.

I’ve taken up playing the ukulele since I last wrote and I’ve gotten fairly good at it since December. There’s a lot to say but I probably can’t think of most of it, or I don’t want it said on here lol. Either way it’s nice to write a post out here for any wandering Tumblrians to read. Also thank you to all of my neglected followers. Maybe this summer I’ll start posting here regularly again. A lot should happen during the summer.

Adios

You will look towards the ocean in longing. 

You will look at the waves.

Reckless waves crashing into the shore.

The waves push.

The waves pull.

The waves are beautiful.

You will be drawn too them.

You will take off your shoes and walk barefoot in the sand.

The waves will call out to you.

Before you realize it you are with them.

You feel the push and pull.

You are lost in the beauty.

You close your eyes.

You open them only to discover that you cannot see the shore.

Some can swim well enough to eventually find their way back.

Some resist the ocean and the call of it’s waves.

Some are lost forever in an endless ocean.

I figured since I’m here I might as well update everone on where I’ve been for the past however long. During the summer I was just lazy, but now I’m actually back in college working on my degree in modern languages. 

My class load includes a cool 15 hrs not counting marching band, which ironically takes up the most of my time. I’m taking Latin, French, Spanish, Japanese, and German Film. It’s pretty awesome.

I’ve also taken up Aikido and Judo. That’s been really fun.

There may or may not be new posts coming soon. I have no idea. It really just depends on if my mind will allow me inspiration for writing something decent. It’s late right now though and I have some Latin to take care of.
